The Bauer X-LP YTH Hockey Skates are designed for the recreational player. If you’re looking for a great first experience, or do not skate regularly, these skates are the ones for you.

Some new features added to this skate are the 3D Poly Carbon quarter package, 30oz Felt tongue, and Microfiber liner inside the boot.

Skate Fit Profile
The Bauer X-LP is engineered to be an entry level skate. Because of this, the fit profile is universal. It is designed to cater to the average foot shape. In addition, this boot only comes in a regular (R) width.

Boot Construction & Stiffness Profile
The composition of the X-LP consists of the 3D Poly Carbon quarter package. This material allows the boot to have the right portion of support and flexibility for players looking to stay comfortable while enjoying the game.

Liner & Internal Padding
The X-LP line features the Microfiber liner that extends through the inner tongue to amplify the comfort level of the skate. Bauer has specifically designed this liner to have a more comfortable fleece liner that adds warmth and comfort.

Tongue
The 30oz felt tongue gives players great comfort and protection.

Steel Runner, Holder & Blade Profile
The Bauer X-LP Skate comes standard with a Lightspeed Pro 2 holder and Stainless Steel combo. Although this combination does not allow you to interchange the blades, the Stainless Steel gives you a great glide on the ice.

Graphics
The graphic on the X-LP skate brings a new look. The boot brings an all black look with hints of blue accenting some of the key areas. This is a very nice looking boot!
